Overview:
The CMA1 & MET1 Initial Assessment Training Course is designed for new entrants seeking to become qualified in the safe installation, exchange, and maintenance of domestic gas meters. The course provides learners with the essential knowledge, practical skills, and regulatory understanding required to meet the Nationally Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS) standards. This course is for Engineers whose certificate has expired more than 12 months ago.
Upon successful completion, candidates will be eligible to undertake gas work relating to the installation and exchange of domestic gas meters under the scope of CMA1 (Core Gas Safety – Meter Installer) and MET1 (Gas Meter Installation).
